ATTORNEY SAM BROYLES

Mr. Broyles’ clients have included state and local construction, business and real estate firms, as well as financial institutions, manufacturers, shippers, contractors, and suppliers.  He has served as trial counsel in federal and state court construction, business, real estate and defense litigation.  Mr. Broyles has significant experience in public and private works construction related litigation including analyzing and enforcing construction contracts, stop notice and lien rights, and defending construction defect claims.  Mr. Broyles’ business litigation experience includes breach of contract, real estate disputes and transactions, contracts, corporate law including formations and dissolutions, partnership disputes, insurance lawsuits and commercial litigation.

In addition to the private law practice, Mr. Broyles served as president of his homeowners’ association.  He also served as a Research Attorney for the Santa Clara County Superior Court. He served as an arbitrator for the District Courts of the State of Nevada until 2005 and as a Temporary Judge in small claims and traffic court in the Orange County courts until 2006.

Mr. Broyles obtained his law degree from the University of Santa Clara, School of Law and his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree (dual major), summa cum laude, from the University of Nevada, in Reno.  Mr. Broyles is admitted in both California (1987) and Nevada (1997) and has been a trial attorney for over twenty years.

Broyles, Jr., was born in Battle Mountain, Nevada, May 16, 1961; admitted to bar, 1987, California and U.S. District Court, Northern and Central Districts of California; admitted to bar, 1997, Nevada and U.S. District Courts, Northern and Southern Districts of Nevada.  Education: University of Nevada, Reno (B.S. with high distinction, 1983), Phi Kappa Phi, Santa Clara University (J.D., 1987). Member: California State Bar and Nevada State Bar and Former Member Orange County Bar Associations; Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, Appointed: Santa Clara Superior Court Research Attorney (1987-1988); Arbitrator for the Nevada District Courts (1997 – 2003); Temporary Judge Orange County Courts (Traffic and Small claims and settlement conferences, 1995 – 2006).
